As one of the “infected” who survived a Némésis attack, Seth believes he can become the great sorcerer who would destroy the vile monsters completely. On the way, the boy apprentice meets new friends, and with them battles powerful enemies and overcomes hardships – all the while under pursuit from the mysterious Inquisition.

A young sorceress with bushy red hair, and an ambush-style Hunter of Artemis Academy. She is kind, reserved, and a bit scatterbrained, but when her curse kicks in, the difference is intense. She excels at defensive magic, and the thing she wants most is friends!
A researcher at Artemis Academy. Like Seth, he has been infected by the Nemesis, but he chose not to learn magic. He’s an extreme coward who’d rather run away and survive than face any danger, but for some reason, he always finds himself mixed up in some kind of trouble anyway.
The veteran sorceress who raised Seth. A pursuit-style Hunter who lives with Seth on an airship with the ability to observe the Nemesis. Though she always seems angry, there is a side of her that worries about Seth.
Melie’s friend who goes everywhere with her. Speaks by saying “Pyui.”
The leader of the Inquisition, the organization that oversees sorcerers. He appears languid and slow, but he has a very strong sense of justice. He is a very talented man and highly skilled as an Inquisitor.
A mysterious individual wrapped in bandages from head to toe. Speaks in the first-person.
